Wayne Davis
In Appreciation of your
many years of Service and Dedication
to the
Santa Clara County Peace Officers Association
2009

Wayne Davis is an honorary member of our association. Wayne has been volunteering his time at our monthly work parties since 1991. Wayne keeps himself busy cleaning the tent cabins, fire pit, BBQ’s, waterfall, and the road in and all around the campgrounds on a monthly basis. Sometimes I think he walks all the way down to Deerpath Rd. cleaning rocks and debris off our road. He used our backpack gasoline powered leaf blower one time, and decided that he needed an improved backpack leaf blower. Wayne went out and purchased a new one on his own. He maintains it himself and provides all the necessary gas and oil to keep it running. Wayne also brings his own weed eater to keep the maintenance free of weeds.

When our road closed a few years ago due to the slide, Wayne was there with us every weekend. Since all the drills were being used by other members, Wayne went out to Home Depot and purchased (on his own again) the biggest Hilti hammer drill Home Depot carried, along with several big drill bits. When we did not have enough extension cords and power to run all the drills we had, Wayne brought up his own generator and drilled away on several of the large rocks. I have personally known Wayne since 1964. Wayne has proven himself a valuable asset to our organization, and presented with our citizen of the year award for 2009.

Presented To
John Tomasetti
In Appreciation of your
many years of Service and Dedication
to the
Santa Clara County Peace Officers Association
2009

John Tomasetti is and has been an honorary member of our association since 2000. John not only volunteers his time at our monthly work parties and board meetings, but he also spends a considerable amount of time scouring the Internet to see what he can find in the way of freebies that can be used up at our property. A few of the items John has located include a pallet of concrete bags, rolls of electrical wire, and a dozen paper towel dispensers that he found at SF University. John not only located these items, he also picks them up and delivers them to our property in between work party days.

John is an all around handyman up at the property doing carpentry work, electrical work, and welding. John also helps by maintaining our shooting range in between work parties, doing clean up, replacing cables as necessary, and welding targets for others to use. John has proven himself a valuable asset to our organization.
